Ships are turning back to Russian flag.
Motor vessel “Pur-Navolok” owned by Belfreight will be involved in coastal trade this summer.
Earlier, this dry cargo vessel used to trade under foreign ownership and on July the 10th a ceremony of hoisting the three-colored Russian flag took place on board. Now the home port of “Pur-Navolok” is Arkhangelsk. The vessel will be employed in coastal trade.
«The river-sea vessel of 1650 т tonnage and 3 м draught makes it possible to call at ports and port points of the Barents and Kara seas and trade on inland shipping routs of Russia», – says general director of Belfreight Evgeniy Penievskoy (on photo). According to him, the necessity of switching from the transport company of service structure to rank of ship owner is stipulated by trends of the region development. “We have constantly increasing employment, the company is progressing to meet the new requirements of its clients and partners”.
On board its own ship “Belfreight” will carry general and bulk cargoes from Arkhangelsk, Kandalaksha, Murmansk to ports of the Barents and Kara seas, deliver cargoes to Arctic shore including those for oil and gas industry. During winter season the vessel will be employed at Baltic. Professionalism and competence of the company are recognized on the highest level. “Belfreight” is the general agent of “Gazflot” Ltd, the company-operator of drill-rigs, platforms and ships of JSC “Gazprom” in the North of Russia.
